This is my second time working behind the scenes at the Gyunel fashion show during London Fashion Week and no matter what show I participate whether it be local or one at LFW I love the experience.
The whole calm before the storm really describes the atmosphere backstage before the lights dim and the crowds arrive. Although I didn't see the actual show being a dresser and all I can honestly say the clothes were created with great thought and attention to detail.
The show started off with a piano solo then Ella Eyre sang a beautiful acoustic version of Gravity. It was amazing! I was in the same class as Ella when I was in primary school (not that its my claim to fame or anything) but I would have never thought that a percentage of people would become so successful to this degree. I think its one of those proud moments when you can say that a person who is around the same age as you has come so far in life and they're only going on to bigger and better things.
I have to say I'm definitely looking forward to lending a hand at wherever my next fashion adventure leads me, whether it be a fashion show or photoshoot, as they only makes aspire to have my own.
Watch this space 😉. Also check out my instagram page to see a quick video of Ella Eyre rehearsing before the show.
Interchangeable Framework is a fashion concept I created for my A/W collection for uni. The main idea that I kept consistent throughout my line up was that I wanted to make certain parts of each look detachable; this could be at the sleeves, bust, waist etc.
