Deep Essence is a concept that I developed for my S/S collection at uni. It combines ideas and features from draped silhouettes in the inspirational religious paintings i looked at and the vivid colours from underwater sea creatures. The bag in this final piece resembles a halo when solid but adds a new dynamic to the collection when empty.
Last Saturday was when I began to celebrate my birthday with my friends and family. The first thing I did was go to the Savage Beauty exhibition in the V&A Museum, London. If you're around before it ends its a must see because pictures show nothing compared to the beauty seen in person. Tickets are available until 2 August 2015.
The exhibition is a journey of McQueen from his first graduate collection in 1992 to his unfinished collection of A/W 2010. If you're overseas here are some photos, none of which are mine as there is no photography allowed in any room of the exhibition.
If you would like to see more pictures click on the images that are linked in this post.
This morning I felt like looking for a Zumba workout I found a couple on Youtube that wasn't really up by street. I came across the one below the 'FUN ZUMBA SOCA DANCE WORKOUT'. I was SWEATINGGG and its honestly the best workout I've tried in the past couple of weeks because its super fun and you can add you're own flair to it.
